What does Extra Añejo mean?

Extra Añejo is the longest-aged category of tequila, with a minimum of three years in oak. Diosa rests three years in American white oak, which gives it silk, vanilla, toasted oak, and a long finish.

How long does it take to make?

The agave grows for nearly six years before harvest, and then the tequila rests three years in oak. That is nearly nine years from soil to glass.

Where is it made?

In the Ciénega region of Jalisco, near Lake Chapala. The distillery carries out every stage, from agave to bottling. Explore the process.

What does it taste like?

• Nose: caramel, citrus, and agave heart.
• Palate: silk, vanilla, toasted oak, and agave sweetness.
• Finish: long, with oak warmth, spice, and a timeless quality.

What is, and is not, in the bottle?

Diosa contains no glycerin, no caramel coloring, no flavor enhancers, no sweeteners, and no added sugars.

What is the alcohol content and bottle size?

Diosa is 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof) and comes in a 750 mL bottle.

How should I serve it?

Pour two ounces into a Glencairn glass and sip it neat, never on ice. Diosa is made for slow tasting rather than mixing.

Why is it called Diosa?

Is it true that mariachi plays during production?

Yes, but only during fermentation of the Extra Añejo run. The music honors the tradition and passion behind the tequila.

How should I store it?

Keep the bottle upright, away from sunlight and heat. An opened bottle holds its character well for months with the stopper in place.

Not yet. Today Diosa is available through Texas retailers. If you are outside Texas, use the request form and we will tell you when that changes.

The suggested retail price is $199.99. Retailers set their own shelf price, so it may vary by store.
